Information we collect
The standard GTM AI Summit invite form at gtm-ai.ventureoutny.com/request collects a mobile number and general communications approval for email, SMS/text, phone calls, and other channels. The separate, SMS-specific invite form at gtm-ai.ventureoutny.com/request-sms lets applicants enter a mobile number and choose separate, optional, unchecked consent for marketing/promotional or informational/non-promotional texts. A mobile number is required on that form only when either text choice is selected. For this A2P campaign, we record and rely on the SMS-specific selection, not the general communications approval alone. We record the time, source, and version of the notice with the SMS choice. The standard request form also records IP address and browser information with its approval record. Our messaging service may process delivery, reply, and opt-out information needed to operate SMS.
How we use it
Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. VentureOut uses information from the SMS-specific form for the type of messages selected: marketing/promotional announcements about events and programs, or informational/non-promotional messages about invite requests, registrations, schedules, event logistics, and attendee support. We also use related information to manage replies and opt-out requests.
How we share it
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in and consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except with providers that process the information as needed to deliver and support VentureOut messages and manage replies or opt-outs.
